Canine Couture

Mastiff in lion costumeIt's never too early to plan for Halloween or Freakfest 2008.
The lion won the costume contest at Dogtoberfest. I wish you could see his little ears better.

Green Bay Packer familyA well planned group costume or the only Packer fans left in Wisconsin?

Hello Kitty dog costumeSee what can happen when you don't plan early.
If you click on my Dogtoberfest flickr set, be sure to check out the Pom in the baby carriage. Need I say more.

  14. Well C., aren't you the naughty girl. Hate to repeat myself from the email, but WHY would anyone light their pubes on fire?
    WHY?

  15. I have nooooooooooo idea!!! I was telling Jimmy that I've actually seen someone do that in person! What on earth would possess anyone to do something so stupid?

When I was working overseas, a bunch of us "foreigners" (aka anyone who is not Japanese) would go for drinks at this "foreigner" bar. All the teachers and workers who were from Canada, the States, England, Australia, etc...would hang out there. Anyway, the owner/bartender would dress up in a wig and a red dress and he'd light his pubes on fire! This was the main attraction. I still don't know why. I was kind of grossed out and in awe that someone would even think of doing that.

Some of the Brit girls really thought that Yuichi (the Japanese bar owner/bartender, pube lighter) was the coolest and hottest thing ever. GAH! The most bizarre thing is that he got "lucky" with those English girls on many, MANY occasions! I guess when you're living far away from home, you'll do crazy things! Not me though...I was an angel ;) LOL! Well, not really, but that's an entirely different post all together...and possibly may have to be password protected!

  16. Okay, I'm just going to have to slap up a token post to get that image out of my mind.
But I have to ask? How many damn times can one light one's pubic hairs on fire?
I know there's a joke about British girls in there somewhere, maybe that's visual too. Or too visual.
Now if he drank a flaming shot at the same time (I hear Jimmy making a joke about flames shooting out of his arse) that would really be something.
So there are no public decency laws in Japan?
