In The Dish: Betsy Ann's Eggs

Bug hugging candyThe Betsy Ann post is on the table—not a particularly safe place for a box of gourmet chocolates—and coming to a blog near you. Bug here pretended to play it cool, but was caught bonding with the four pounds of chocolate. Which he then helped devour.

Vixen and Chocolate BunnyIt's just you and me now, bunny.

Hazy DogI'm getting that "No chocolate for you" Soup Nazi vibe again.
Not cool dude. Not. Cool. Got a mint?

  1. Yummy! I feel so sorry for dogs. My girl, Fibi, will get into my chocolate kisses every chance she gets. I cannot leave one on my bedside table, ever!

  2. And Fibi is a little thing, isn't she. Roscoe has consumed items that would turn your stomach, and as far as I know, no worse for the wear. But chocolate and the sugar free stuff found in breath mints, gum, candy, toothpaste, etc., xylitol, worries me.

  4. What do you know, a brasserie that flatters me. Thanks!
Those two furry creatures have a way of making me feel guilty for no good reason. My cousin says they just look at me until I give them something.

  5. That dog clearly wants to kill the eggs.

  6. I love Miss Vickers. Darn, that's one of the few times it sucks to be a dog.........when you are around chocolate:(

  7. Your dog eats toothpaste? At least he has clean teeth, lol. Good dog. :)

  8. Hey Cakespy, Roscoe does have a kind of Javier Bardem thing going on there. But this is an animal who's afraid of snow shovels, so...no.

  9. Tarheels! Yeee haaaa! Miss Vickers is one lovable pooch, but she was giving me the crook eye from her little nap nook when I told them to not even think about it. They got dog treats, little hoodlums.

  10. Hey, it's the woman on the move. These are my cousin's dogs who I take out and hang out with on occasion, and although I've brushed Miss Vicker's teeth with doggie toothpaste, I think regular toothpaste would harm an animal because of the xylitol. It's found in toothpaste and sugar free gum and the like. It's been fatal to pets. So, go sugar!

  12. Hey C., so glad you're back and safe and sound. Been trying to take care of my mother, who's in the hospital, and dad, who's not feeling so hot himself. Will be able to post and talk more later.
