I'd ship some to you along with the stupid things Republicans say joke book if they didn't need to stay cold. I'm sure NC has Cannoli, Jamesbo, the state isn't quite as third world as you make it out to be. I used to work there, sort of.
Lisa. Dang, woman. The next time you're here I'm directing you straight to Gino's on Verona Rd. Or would you like directions now? Okay, you're on the West Beltline, you'll be heading south by the news stations to Verona Road. You'll see the Home Depot and a Copps grocery store. On the access road before that is Gino's. 4606 Verona Road phone: (608) 273-1981 Or go to Milwaukee, we always got Sciortino's, which is where the cannoli in the photo is from.
You're right, Cakespy, the world could turn on that cannoli. If I didn't need to lose several stone I'd be getting pastry shells filled after I left the computer.
Yup, MM., Gino's on Verona Rd. See the comment right above Cakespy written to Lisa. Next time you're in town gimme a call. Or Sciortino's in Milwaukee on Brady. You strike me as someone who knows where Brady Street is.
Hey Olga, it's a lead in for the next post which was supposed to go up last Tuesday. Uh oh, time to go swimming. (Having trouble staying focused.) Hint: Next post called Meme Mia!
Will saunter over after I get back from the pool, C. So glad to hear things are getting a little better for you. Have you made cannoli or cannoli cake?
My daughter said I ate a cannoli a few years ago, but I don't remember. I only remember the one I ate in Milwaukee. Cream Puffs just don't hold a special place for me anymore....
I don't know, but I want one. :)
ReplyDeleteI love cannoli (dipped in chocolate!)
I'm a purist and give the evil eye to those chocolate cannoli eaters.
ReplyDeleteIt's similar to candy?
